About

Wildstream Forest

Design & Technology Studio founded by Charlene Mostert

Wildstream Forest is a design and technology studio founded by Charlene Mostert, a South African–born, Australia-based design and technology leader. We work with teams who care about detail and want their products to feel as considered as the systems behind them.

We focus on complex work: enterprise software, internal tools, data dashboards and AI-enabled products. Our role is to bring clarity — mapping flows, shaping interfaces and designing visual systems that feel calm, intelligent and dependable.

From early discovery to long-term design systems, we collaborate closely with founders, product managers, engineers and data teams to turn ambiguity into tangible, testable design.

A studio for thoughtful, system-aware work

Wildstream Forest sits between design, architecture and data. We’re comfortable inside complicated environments: regulated industries, legacy systems, multi-team roadmaps and products that must evolve over time.

Our job is to honour those constraints while still creating experiences that feel simple, calm and human.

We focus on UX and interface design for complex software: enterprise applications, internal tools, dashboards and AI-enabled products. We work at the intersection of product strategy, interaction design and visual systems.

Who leads the studio?

Wildstream Forest is founded by Charlene Mostert, a South African–born, Australia-based design and technology leader. She directly oversees projects and stays close to the work.

Where are you based and who do you work with?

We are based in South Australia and happily work with teams across Australia, South Africa and further afield. Most engagements are remote with focused in-person sessions when needed.

Do you work on AI and machine learning products?

Yes. We design interfaces for AI- and ML-powered products: from model outputs that need to be understandable, to workflows that help people trust automated decisions.
